I remember this phone. My aunt had one, I believe you had to turn it to release the locking mechanism before raising the handset from the base.
ReplyDeleteThat's interesting to know. Apparently it used to come in a touch-tone dialing as well. I wonder what is the locking mechanism for that one. Maybe a simple push on the button. I like the rotary better. And it seems that the phone is actually called the Sculptura.
